1st Community Memorial Hospital
 

     It was located on Jackson St. about two blocks away from the current site of the hospital. It was used as a hospital during the late 20's and 30's. In 1943 it became Ionia County Memorial Hospital. The current hospital was built during the early 50's and opened in September 1953.
