Many researchers have found various newspaper clippings amongst their "treasures"; articles written about a wedding, engagement, birth, etc.   Many times, these articles contain the names of friends, relatives, neighbors. . . .  The articles themselves may offer valuable insight to that person's life - where they came from, their occupations, who their friends were. . . . . . .

With this in mind, the Ionia Co. website would like to invite everyone to submit transcripts of your treasured newspaper clippings.  The surnames will be indexed and the articles published online.  Please do not submit obituaries.  They should be submitted to the Obituary Board 

To submit your items, please type them up (in any format) and attach them to your email  You can also type them as a "regular" email instead of attaching a separate file.  If you need additional help in submitting items, just drop us a note - we'll be glad to do whatever we can.
